Economos
Properties was founded in 1969 in
Virginia by Nick Economos who serves
as the company president and
owner. Mr. Economos was involved in
community and professional activities
throughout his twenty-year residence in the
Tidewater Area. A political science major,
he graduated from Old Dominion University in
Norfolk, Virginia. Additionally, he
completed various courses in Hotel and Motel
Law and Management through the Education
Institute of the American Hotel and Motel
Association. Since 1992 he has been residing
in Boca Raton, Florida and is active in the
development of hotels in the Florida market.
Mr. Economos moved to Virginia in 1969 and
purchased a 23-unit apartment complex. Over
the next thirteen years he acquired ten
additional motels and developed the E&W
restaurant chain. In 1985 Mr. Economos
developed the 169 room Omni Virginia Beach
Hotel and, in 1989, the 183 room Omni
Newport News Hotel. In the early 1990
he developed a 210 unit single housing
development in Newport News, Virginia and
two Howard Johnson Inn properties totaling
215 rooms.
Since moving to Florida in 1992, Mr.
Economos has developed a number of projects.
He built the Hampton Inn & Suites in
Islamorada, Florida in 1996. In conjunction
with the Islamorada project, he became a
joint-venture partner of Outback Steak House
and developed an Outback restaurant at the
hotel site. In 2000 Mr. Economos purchased
the Bank of America office building in Boca
Raton, Florida to use as corporate
headquarters.
Mr. Economos completed two development
projects in early 2004, a 156 room Hilton
Garden Inn in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and a
262 room Miami Beach Courtyard Marriott. In
late 2004, Mr. Economos completed the
development of a Carrabba
Italian Grill located in the Miami Beach
Courtyard Marriott. In 2005, Mr. Economos
began development of a 190 room Hilton
Garden Inn, 124 room Homewood Suites by
Hilton and a restaurant near the Miami
Airport. The total cost of this project is
approximately $50 million. In 2006, Mr.
Economos began development of a 124 room
Homewood Suites by Hilton, a 158 room
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, a
54,000 square foot condo office building and
a restaurant near the Ft. Lauderdale
airport. The total cost of this project is
approximately $55 million. In addition, Mr.
Economos completed development of an 8,000
square foot retail strip center in Boca
Raton, FL anchored by Cold Stone Creamery,
Quizno's Sub and Sprint/Nextel. In 2007, Mr.
Economos began development of a 200 room
Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Miami just off
Brickell Avenue. The total project cost of
the Hilton is $30 million.
Since 1969, Nick Economos has led Economos
Properties in developing projects valued in
excess of $500 million, including
twenty-five hotels, twenty restaurants and a
number of condominium, office, retail and
apartment projects. Today, Economos
Properties employs over 400 people and has
annual revenues of over $40 million. Based
on the current development pipeline, by 2008
Economos Properties will employ more than
1,500 people and have annual revenues of
approximately $85 million. |

| Daniel
Economos |
Daniel Economos
joined Economos Properties in 2002. Daniel was
instrumental in the development of the Miami
Beach Courtyard Marriott, a $32.5 million 263
room hotel that opened in January 2004. In
addition, Daniel opened the Carrabba
Italian Grill in December 2004. Currently,
Daniel is developing two hotels and a restaurant
at the Miami Airport consisting of a 190 room
Hilton Garden Inn, 124 room Homewood Suites by
Hilton and a restaurant. The total project cost
is approximately $50 million and is expected to
open in the Spring of 2008. Daniel is also in
the preliminary stages of co-developing a 200
room Hilton Garden Inn, 85,000 square foot
office building, 50,000 square feet of retail
and a 450 car parking garage in downtown Miami.
The total development cost of this project is
approximately $100 million.
Prior to joining Economos Properties, Daniel
spent three years working for Deutsche Bank in
the lodging and gaming investment banking group.
In addition, Daniel spent time at Deutsche bank
covering lodging companies while working in the
equity research department.
Daniel is a graduate of Cornell University
School of Hotel Administration.

Nick Economos, Jr.
joined Economos Properties in 2002. Nick was
instrumental in the development of the Hilton
Garden Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport, a $14
million 156 room hotel that opened in February
2004. In 2006, Nick completed the development of
an 8,000 square foot retail strip center
anchored by Cold Stone Creamery, Quizno
Subs and Sprint/ Nextel. Currently, Nick is
developing a mixed-use project at the Ft.
Lauderdale Airport consisting of a 158 room
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, 124 room
Homewood Suites by Hilton, 54,000 square foot
condo office building and a restaurant . The
total project cost is approximately $55 million
and is expected to open in the Fall of 2008.
Prior to joining Economos Properties, Nick
spent two years working for JD Carlisle
Development Corp., developing large mixed-use
projects in New York City. In addition, Nick
spent time working at the American Stock
Exchange covering small cap stocks in the equity
research department. Nick also spent time
working for numerous hotels, including the Omni
Berkshire in Manhattan.
Nick is a graduate of Ithaca College
School of Business Administration.
